Pathology Lab at St. John’s

After renovating the Chemistry Lab at St. John’s, the Pathology Lab wanted to renovate and expand services. This project included incorporating updated equipment and revising the space to accommodate it. Because of the corrosive chemicals used in this area, special materials on the countertops had to be used and the hoods and ductwork for the hoods had to be stainless steel.

Challenge:

Keep the 24/7 lab open while under construction and have enhanced infection control measures.

Solution:

We designed the project in phases that could easily work around their existing conditions. We also developed the infection control standards for this project.
