Republic Road Strip Center
This owner wanted a modern–styled strip center to accommodate various types of tenants. He wanted an open ceiling that was painted black with the ductwork and electrical conduit exposed and a stained concrete floor. I have included pictures of one tenant in this center, which happens to be a hair salon. The intention of the interior pictures are to shown the type of interior space the owner wanted, the space could be used for anything, i.e. real estate office, insurance office, etc.
Challenge:
This site had several restrictions that made designing a building difficult, but not impossible. The owner wanted us to design the largest building possible for this site, to give him the greatest amount of square footage to lease.
Solution:
The owner said we hit the nail on the head with the design and feel of the building. He had no problems filling the building quickly with tenants.
