Piney Ridge Center Renovation-Residential Treatment Center
At Piney Ridge Center Ireland Architects has designed several unit renovations. Unit #1 and Unit #2 Renovations were to update to anti-ligature items because of more acute patients being served. Unit #5 was a new unit because the facility decided to build a separate school building and utilize the space for an additional unit. We also helped select materials that were low maintenance and very durable to handle their clientele.
Challenge:
Renovation in an existing facility while keeping security measures in place.
Solution:
We designed the project in phases so the clientele would not be susceptible to possible security breaches. There were no security incidents during the entire construction time.
