Cath Lab
This is the fifth Cath Lab we have designed for St. John’s. They are constantly wanting to stay on top of new technology for their patients. We renovated an existing storage space to accommodate the new design. Special care had to be taken because of head clearance needed, in an existing space.
Challenge:
Budget.
Solution:
When the Owner came into the meeting and said they wanted a new Cath Lab they wanted it “here”, the construction cost was estimated to be around $6,000,000. Once we asked more questions, partnered with the Owner to determine the true needs, the desirable features and the option, we were able to come up with an alternate suitable location that reduced the cost by $4,000,000.
