IV Clean Room for St. John’s Hospital
This is a project designed, waiting for funding to begin construction. The project intention is to bring the IV Clean Room facilities up to the latest standards and expand their facilities. Because this project was intended to use the existing location of the IV Clean Room, a temporary IV Clean Room had to be designated in an existing lounge during construction, which we had to receive approval for from the State Health Department. We also coordinated with the owner’s vendor, MMI, to make sure everything would work as designed.
Challenge:
Keep a temporary, state approval, IV clean room operational during construction.
Solution:
Final pharmacy clean room passed all requirements the first time.
