Roubidoux Park Pavilion
This project was designed to receive shade during the hottest part of the day, yet warm the space during winter. This picture was taken on July 11 at 2:00PM and yet there is still shade. The setting is beautiful for a community facility. It is wheelchair accessible and even has a system to keep the people cool on stage!
Challenge:
Shade in the summer, sun in the winter and acoustics.
Solution:
The pavilion has been used many times and it gets high marks from everyone enjoying it!
