The client was busting at the seams in this facility and they had the land available so we designed an addition. The location of the addition was important to the work flow of the staff and patient flow from the waiting room. We added a weigh station near the addition so the bottleneck at the existing weigh station could be relieved. The addition was a new medical pod that had everything it needed to be independent from the original building as to not over-stress an already busy space.
